Island Boys Member Arrested on New Year's Eve
Franky Venegas, one half of the viral duo Island Boys, was arrested in Florida on New Year's Eve for alleged drug-related offenses. According to law enforcement, Venegas was booked into the Collier County Jail in Naples on Wednesday night on one count of drug paraphernalia possession.
The arrest comes as Venegas is currently out on bond from a February 2025 arrest involving firearm charges. Law enforcement confirmed that Venegas is being held on a 24-hour hold due to his existing bond status from the earlier case, where he faced charges for delivering, possessing, and selling a firearm with an altered serial number. The drug count from that February arrest was dropped, but the firearm charge remained.
Venegas has no bond set for the current drug paraphernalia charge, keeping him in custody as the new year begins.
